Read what others have said and decide for yourself—many families and players have found CCA to be a top choice for cricket development in Canberra.
CCA generally accepts players aged 7 years and above. Children under 7 are not encouraged to enrol in structured programs; however, basic skill exposure sessions for interested children and parent-guided coaching can be arranged on request.
The Head Coach is Dr Masud Rahman, widely known as “Dr Cricket.”
Supporting coaches are primarily emerging ACT Comets players and other experienced cricketers who are trained and accredited through CCA’s coaching framework.
Players must bring full cricket gear, including a helmet, to every session.
For safety reasons, junior players are not permitted to train without appropriate protective equipment.
Comfortable sportswear is suitable. Players should ensure clothing allows free movement and safe participation.

CCA regularly uses bowling machines, Spin Fire Thrower, side arms and video analysis cameras to support skill development and performance feedback.
CCA delivers a unique, research-informed coaching model that blends live match simulation, biomechanics, video analysis and decision-making training.
CCA operates under a social business model. Discounts are generally not offered unless a family is experiencing genuine financial hardship. In such cases, support may be considered confidentially.
We are passionate about helping each and every player achieve their goals and reach their potential through expert coaching in a fun, challenging, positive and professional environment. Through the game of cricket, we ultimately aim to help our players learn, grow and develop into becoming better people.
